When I think of the word ‘new year’, this verse always come to mind…

“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:22-24 (NIV)

God can restore what is broken

When your heart is broken, turn to God’s Word for healing…

I used to avoid eating alone in any food establishments. While I’m fine traveling alone, I always felt awkward (not insecure) seeing families eat together. You see, both of my parents are dead and I’m not in good terms with the rest of the family. It wasn’t the idea that I would feel sad or alone, I was silently devastated with being in a broken family. I was (and still) broken.

Searching through images in Pinterest has been one of my past times and I stumbled upon this quote… So I searched for the original verse…
